The APFTQ has five membership categories: Regular, Trainee, Permittee, Associate and Honorary. Companies may become Regular, Trainee or Permittee members. Individuals may become Associate or Honorary members.
Companies and individuals seeking Regular, Trainee or Associate membership must meet the requirements set out in the By-laws : possess minimum production experience, submit a duly completed application, secure letters of recommendation from Regular members and achieve accreditation by the APFTQ’s board of directors.
All members must agree to abide by the APFTQ’s By-laws and Code of Ethics and to pay the applicable membership fees. Regular and Trainee members are bound by all collective agreements signed by the APFTQ with artists’ associations recognized in Quebec. Permittee members are bound by these agreements on a per-project basis.
